People naturally resist changes, so they must be stimulated to make them. In talking to your team about change, underscore the impending dangers of complacency. The reason that hold out People from change is the growth of accustomed to routine, and they resent anyone who threatens to disrupt how they work.
Change is a choice
Many leaders don't see it that way. The truth is that, although most of them become fully aware of doing things the same way will produce the same results and perceive a need for change, few leaders can convince others to believe in change and only strong leaders get ahead of changing circumstances.
What is the secret of successful change?
The answer may be provided by the greatest thinker and unique philosopher of ancient Greek, Socrates :The secret of change is to focus all of your energy not on fighting the old, but on building the new." The successful leaders are aware that the path to successful change is to take massive, determined action on building the new. Making a change, the first thing you must do is to raise your standards, acknowledging and understanding the need for change.
